Funfair devils horns, mermaid’s purses; candy treats to be won through our interaction with them. Along side these hanging vessels or limbs are creature’s comforts or discomforts, shaved, plucked toys, staring desolately at the lack of identity. They communicate a faceless embodiment of feelings kept in corners. I could name them, sads, sorrys, stupid doubts, guilty lumps. There is a strange and disturbing contradiction between the certain seductive sexuality to these objects and a homely, domesticity maybe referring to a typical female contradiction...are these discarded playfellows or naughty new friends, they certainly seem to hint at having physical secrets pushed into their seems. They occupy the space...”
