About the artist

I am concerned with my own bodily experience, how my own body responds to my work when I am in dialogue with it, and how the viewer's body responds as they enter a discourse through looking or participating.

Animus
Soul
The life of objects

Recent works have played with body image, and the notion of body modification. Does it break down bodiy boundaries or help maintain self-cohesion?

I have been exploring an animalistic/absurd side to the body and adapting the form through prosthesis, addornments and appendages.

Fur, feathers and hair are a rich source of inspiration, as it the animal and the gendered body and relationships that occur between objects, people and the surrounding environment.
